We have an aggressive position on safety and a relentless motive to improve it.
Our number one goal is to safely deliver all our projects and strengthen the relationships with our trade partners so that everyone returns home safely at the end of the workday. As an active member of the Coalition of Construction Safety (CCS) and Association of Builders & Contractors (ABC), we recognize the fact that the responsibilities for safety and health are shared between all parties involved in the construction process.
Safety Controls
Meyer Najem recognizes the fact that the responsibilities for safety and health are shared between all parties involved in the project. These values are showcased beyond our ownership, and into leaders on our sites. Seven of our field management staff, included safety personnel are certified as Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). When working on any project, specific safety plans are installed and designed around the needs of that project.
Employee Training
We train our employees in good safety and health practices and processes, including on-site Superintendents completing the OSHA 30-Hour certification and First Aid/CPR training.
Safety Equipment
We provide the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for our projects. Hard hats and safety glasses are worn until final finishes begin and high visibility clothing is worn for all exterior and site activities.
Safety Planning
Our safety plans unify the protection of personnel, surrounding communities, cleanliness of the site, interim life safety, infectious control, OSHA and ICRA protocols, as well as any additional jobsite safety measures.
