Nickel Plate District Amphitheater

The Nickel Plate District Amphitheater is one of Central Indiana’s premier outdoor music and event venues. It hosts a variety of events including concerts, cultural events, festivals, the Fishers Farmers Market and more. The outdoor venue is open year-round and can accommodate performances from a simple acoustic set to a 5,000 person concert.

At the start of 2018, our team had the opportunity to work with Fishers on the newest update and design of the venue, targeted on enhancing the experience of visitors to the vast set of community wide events. The project included a 1,700-square-foot Pavilion with a meeting space to accommodate up to 46 people with natural lighting, glass sides, and restrooms. An addition of a fountain/splash pad for all ages was constructed on the south side of the new Amphitheater Pavilion. For the Amphitheater, a deeper stage and sound wall was added to enhance aesthetics while also improving the listening experience.
