Holy Spirit at Geist Youth Center

The scope of work for this project was an addition to the existing youth center building, which included a warming kitchen, meeting rooms, and classrooms on the lower level with a basketball gym on the main floor. The addition was on the back side of the existing facility that was wooded where the grade drops drastically. This required us to install shoring up next to the existing building in order for us to install our basement along with rerouting the building’s existing sanitary line. Our team worked diligently at the beginning of the project to get the new road and parking lot installed prior to the winter of 2020/21 so that construction activities could continue through the winter with easy access to the lower level.
